Welcome to Cycle Stops Latest Additions

We all know what it's like to cycle in an area for the first time, the fun of exploring new roads, new hills, new tracks and all the other things that make cycling the enjoyment it is.

However there is always that problem of "Where do we stay?", "Where do we camp?", "What's the best place to eat?", all this complicated more by the fact that many cyclists want something different from other tourists. We all know a recommendation is best but often we don't know anyone who has been there before.

Cycle Stops has been designed to solve this problem by allowing cyclists to enter places they have stayed or eaten at free of charge and allowing you to search areas to find what is available.

The rules of the site are very simple, for everyplace you enter you will get 10 viewing credits allowing you to see what others have listed in different areas.

Searches can be broken down to make searches more accurate, accommodation is broken down into camp sites, hostels, bunk houses, Bed & Breakfast. Food stops is broken down into Cafe's & Restaurants, Pubs and picnic spots.

Searches are based on the Ordinance Survey 1:50,000 Landranger maps and 1:25,000 Explorer maps making the site useful to on and off road cyclists. Please take care when entering map co ordinates and be as accurate as possible, use the help system if you are stuck...or cheat and use Multi Map.

I hope you enjoy the site and find it useful and please remember to add a stop of your own
